Thoughtful passage

THE SKY’S THE LIMIT

I look up to the sky and what do I see?

Fluffy white clouds on a backcloth of blue

If only I had an artistic hand

I could paint a picture to view.

I look up to the sky and what do I see?

A flock of birds in full flight

Where they are off to I haven’t a clue

But it’s such a wonderful sight.

I look up to the sky and what do I see?

The trail of a plane on its way

To faraway places with strange sounding names

I couldn’t begin how to say.

I look up to the sky and what do I see?

A colourful rainbow to spy

I watch in awe at this wondrous sight

Which really appeals to my eye?

I look up to the sky and what do I see?

A bed of stars twinkling down

Each one is different in shape and size

Which shine all over the Town?

I look up to the sky in great wonder

And marvel at all that’s around

A moving picture comes to mind

Only this one has no sound.
